The Challenge
Chocolate Starfish powered on to the Australian music scene in the early 1990s and quickly established themselves as an influential force with their cover of Carly Simon's 'You're So Vain', their original hit 'Mountain' and the perennial favourite 'Four Letter Word'. They wholeheartedly earned their reputation as one of Australia's best live bands of the 90s, boasting two Top 10 albums and six Top 50 singles.
Twenty-five years later, Chocolate Starfish is still igniting the stage, this time on a national tour celebrating Meatloaf's classic album Bat Out of Hell.
The Approach
"The fish" engaged Himy Creative to help develop their online marketing strategy in anticipation of their national tour, with a heavy emphasis on marketing strategy and digital content creation for Social Media and TV.
Himy Creative worked alongside Chocolate Starfish as they toured throughout 2023 and 2024, supporting each show with targeted social media advertising, email marketing and video production.
